Creation, from the origin to the future
In the author's intentions, the work aims to represent various aspects of the human being's journey, emphasizing the cultural and psychological sides. The three physical elements that constitute the work are the main cornerstones of this journey. The egg of the beginning of every journey, the thousand-year-old piece of boat retrieved from the Po River, symbolizes the actual journey, representing the exact metaphor of life with all its adversities. Finally, the image full of chaotic letters and colors depicts the future in which human beings, attempting to achieve perfection in every aspect of their existence, explore infinite possibilities that lead them to as many endless paths to reach their ideological goal. In the end, an inverse reflection arises: the long-desired perfection could be innate at the beginning of the journey with the simple and perfect form of the origin.

My Story, My Mission
“I happened to be born” is the phrase that my uncle, sculptor and painter of international fame, wrote in his confession in the catalog “The sculpture of Franco Verroca” of 1998, and it is certainly the best way to introduce himself. Therefore, I am adopting the same expression: “I happened to be born on 13/05/1964,“ which was my first day in the light.
I had my first complimented drawing at the age of 4, by the nuns of the then nursery school of S. Agata in Cremona, I drew a church in perspective. In elementary schools, I won my first prize in art by drawing a typical farmhouse in the Cremona countryside. Since then, I have not had the opportunity to express myself artistically. The educational path, that I have chosen in the health care field, separated my passion from my professional life.
In recent years, I found a way to express my artistic side. As a result, I managed to present myself in my first exhibition as an artist, inaugurated on 13/04/2019 in Cremona, with paintings, sculptures and installations that want to communicate and stimulate philosophical, physical and mood concepts, in which man and nature are the protagonists, a kind of cosmic rhapsody.
